We sent these postcards to our parents assuring them nothing could go wrong with the two us heading for Spain on a motorcycle. After the near miss of scorching your nether regions our mis adventure continued with the second option of travelling with Chis’ brother in his Mercedes 190D that ended when he crashed it. This left us, Tom Torrence as well, with the only other way of getting there, our thumbs. Boat to San Sebastian then three people asking for lifts south to the Med.
Could be but I don’t remember him. I do remember that one of the guys helping us, not a student, was the guy who gave us the piece of bad advice that led to the explosion between my legs. I think he was the brother of one of the students. As and aside, “Beau” George would be been a precursor to Boy George! 😉
